Order of the Sinking Star Price, Bundles & Buying
Order of the Sinking Star's Steam US base game was $29.99 with no standalone discount on October 13, 2026; the US PS5 page also showed $29.99. The Steam game-plus-soundtrack bundle was $31.48, compared with $34.98 for its two items separately. For the two comparable ordinary US-eligible Steam offers checked here, Steam and Fanatical both listed $29.99: neither had a lower published standard price within that set. This comparison excludes unverified coupon or member prices, taxes and other regions; it is not a worldwide or historical-lowest-price claim.

| Product and country | Price | Evidence and limit |
|---|---|---|
| Steam game — United States | $29.99 USD | Original cc=us product and Valve API; base-game discount_percent:0. |
| PS5 game — United States | $29.99 USD | Current official US PS Store purchase panel showed Add to Cart. This is a PS5 entitlement, not a Steam key. |
| Switch 2 — US launch announcement | $29.99 USD announced | The publisher announced this launch price. The supplied Nintendo page did not expose a reliable live price panel; read the current store before paying. |
| Steam soundtrack — United States | $4.99 USD | Separate music product, App 5217050; not the game. |
| Steam game — Japan | ¥3,400 JPY | Explicit cc=jp Valve API; no standalone discount. This is not a converted US price or a Chinese-yuan amount. |
| PLAYISM Japanese console plans | To be determined | The checked original Japanese page gives 未定 for the tax-inclusive console price. |
For Japan-specific console availability, use Japan release & PLAYISM. Dollar and yen amounts belong to different local products and cannot establish which country is ‘cheapest’ without a valid like-for-like comparison.

| Store | Observed ordinary price | Edition and regional basis | Result in this set |
|---|---|---|---|
| Steam US | $29.99 | Full game App 499170; explicit US country query and purchase package. | Joint lowest observed ordinary price. |
| Fanatical | $29.99 | Public USD offer for the Steam game; the product's country checker confirmed activation in United States. The retailer identifies its keys as official. | Joint lowest observed ordinary price; no US checkout total tested. |
Humble's original product showed $29.99 and delivery through Steam for Windows, but the actual request-country field was Hong Kong. It is useful for identifying that retail edition; it is excluded from this US comparison because a dollar symbol alone does not establish a US offer. Green Man Gaming's retrieved page likewise used Hong Kong-dollar pricing and is not ranked here.
Fanatical displayed a generic 15% coupon promotion with exclusions. This check did not establish that the coupon applies to this title for a US purchase, so the table does not turn it into a promised discounted price. Humble Choice benefits are also account-dependent. Recheck any conditional offer before choosing a store on that basis.
This is a small, explicitly named comparison set. It does not cover every seller, an individual's final payment total or price history; no historical-lowest or worldwide-cheapest figure is established.

| Bundle | Included products | Individual-item total | Bundle cost | Listed bundle discount |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Game + Official Soundtrack | Order of the Sinking Star + digital soundtrack | $34.98 | $31.48 | 10%; listed saving $3.50 |
| Game + Animal Well | Order of the Sinking Star + ANIMAL WELL | $54.98 | $49.48 | 10%; listed saving $5.50 |
| Game + Mewgenics | Order of the Sinking Star + Mewgenics | $59.98 | $53.98 | 10%; listed saving $6.00 |
| Game × Permafrost | Order of the Sinking Star + Permafrost | $49.98 at current item prices | $44.98 | 10%; listed saving $5.00 |
The launch announcement promoted the soundtrack, Animal Well and Mewgenics bundles. The current Steam game page says there are four bundles, including Permafrost. The table therefore follows the live detail pages rather than treating the earlier three-bundle announcement as an exhaustive current list.
For Permafrost, the detail page showed the partner game reduced from $24.99 to $19.99 before the bundle calculation. That partner discount does not make Order of the Sinking Star's standalone game discounted. The bundle's item-total and Your cost fields supply the amounts above.
If you only want Order of the Sinking Star and own none of these items, the $29.99 base game costs less than the listed bundles. If you also want the soundtrack, the $31.48 bundle costs $1.49 more than the base game and $3.50 less than buying both separately at these US prices.
Steam distinguishes Complete the Set bundles from Must Purchase Together bundles. Existing ownership can change the price or purchase eligibility, depending on that bundle type. Read the signed-in bundle's contents and final price; do not assume that owning one item makes every bundle a discounted upgrade.

Match a key or edition to the product you need
- Steam game or Steam key
- The checked Windows game is App 499170. A retail listing should explicitly identify Steam delivery and your activation country. Humble's original product identifies Steam for Windows, while Fanatical's checker distinguishes US activation from a region it does not support.
- Soundtrack purchase
- The $4.99 music product is App 5217050. It is sold separately and is also included in the game-plus-soundtrack bundle. Buying it alone does not supply the full game.
- Console purchase
- The PS5 or Switch 2 product supplies that console edition. A Steam key is not an entitlement to either console game. Check the actual account region and edition before paying.
- Physical copy
- A digital game key or soundtrack bundle does not promise a cartridge, disc or CD. The provisional retailer record is explained in physical edition status; its zero placeholder is not a free-game offer.
Use platforms and editions to choose your device, PS5 store help for a product or account mismatch, or physical edition status if a retail package is essential. Those checks resolve different purchase decisions without expanding the price comparison beyond its stated scope.
